Tuscan Lemon Chicken & Mixed Greens.
Unlike most, January was a month of indulgence for me. I ate too much, ran too little, and drank my fill. Now I’m attempting to re-focus on eating whole, real foods with natural ingredients. While I’ll never be able to give up carbs or cheese completely, I am going to attempt to restrain myself more around them! This is a great dinner for going light on calories and heavy on flavor....

The La Boum Experience in Pictures

Probably my favorite thing to do ever (besides eat brunch) is to try something new. Tomorrow I’ll be attending a girls’ brunch I put together (put together = sent an e-mail & made a reservation) at L’Enfant Cafe & Bar. But this isn’t just any old brunch… it’s La Boum. it’s been one of those weeks, my friends. little to no personal time. ridiculously swamped at work. all resulting from:
a hospital trip (not an emergency. not my issue.)
driving home from hospital in the snow (no 2 hour delay for work.)
only worked out on Monday (gross.)
